After a minor run in with the walls of Galot Motorsports Park Jerico Balduf and his crew have officially returned. The Batmobile has undergone a complete overhaul during this time, beginning with the most obvious change the new lightweight carbon body. This new carbon body weights in at just over 60 lbs complete with doors, or roughly half of the previous fiberglass version. In addition to the lightweight body the removable body mounts and frame that supports the body has been completely made from strong and lightweight titanium, shaving even more weight. Underneath the body the wheel tubs and the other composite pieces have ben changed over from carbon glass to lighter carbon/carbon. During the down time many of the cars systems were checked tested or replaced, the cars suspension has been completely gone thru and has been dialed. Fans man have seen the bat mobile at this past weekends 25th annual World Street Nationals at Orlando Speed World sporting the new temporary look of grey gel coat. The body has not received the signature batman paint job as of yet but plans are made to have it looking top notch by next spring.
