Fabricator Position Overview
Seeking a race car fabricator with the skills of:
  • Tig Welding ( Moly, Alum, and Titanium )
  • Sheet metal fabrication skills
  • Knowledge of race car fabrication

Not looking for quick learners or a general interest in race cars. We are looking for candidates who have the ability to think 3-dimensionally, welding chassis in various angles, while following instructions and procedures accurately.

The fabricator must be a self driven and hardworking individual. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work efficiently to ensure the proper procedures are followed. The individual will report directly to the fabrication shop manager.

Responsibilities

  • Welding various components/materials
  • Ability to weld in various positions
  • Cutting & notching tubing
  • Working with air powered tools
  • Measuring with a high degree of accuracy
  • Managing time and use of materials effectively

Qualifications or Requirements

  • Technician must have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in the use of fabrication shop tools
  • Ability to bend, move, lift and physically perform duties in the scope of this position.
  • Proficient working with Chromoly, Aluminum & Titanium materials
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time & lift over 75lbs.

Welding experience is required. A welding test will be conducted at interview

Composite Technician Position Overview
Seeking a person who is knowledgeable in fiberglass and carbon fiber layup process
  • Must be able to work with chemicals
  • Must have some knowledge in bodywork and basic fiberglass skills
  • Composite Technician must be a self driven and hardworking individual.
  • The ideal candidate will have the ability to work efficiently and effectively and to ensure the proper procedures are followed.

The individual will report directly to the composite manager in the department.

Responsibilities

  • Cutting materials to specific dimensions
  • Waxing & cleaning molds
  • Measuring & mixing chemicals in precise amounts
  • Spraying gel coat thru a spray gun within a paint booth
  • Hand laying carbon & fiberglass material
  • Trimming to finished dimensions
  • Managing time and use of materials effectively

Qualifications or Requirements

  • Technician must have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in the use of common mechanic shop tools
  • Ability to bend, move, lift and physically perform duties in the scope of this position
  • Proficient working with fiberglass & carbon materials
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time & lift over 50lbs.
  • Pay is determined on experience
  • Experience preferred, but willing to train the proper candidate
